Nanbin Client Types: Amazon FBA, DTC, and Wholesale Brands
Who We Work With
We work with three main client types: Amazon FBA sellers, DTC brands, and wholesale brands. Each has different core needs, and we tailor our approach accordingly.
No single type is a “better fit” — we’ve been serving all three for years, just in different ways.
Amazon FBA Sellers
Typical profile: Multi-SKU operation. Needs consistent quality and on-time delivery. Often has strict shipping deadlines (Prime Day, Q4 peak).
Decision priorities: Lead time > Quality control > Price
How we work with them:
- Production scheduling prioritized to meet sales windows
- Consistent quality across bulk runs — no variance from sample standard
- Packaging compliant with FBA requirements (labels, barcodes, packing lists)
- Multi-SKU split shipments to reduce inventory pressure
DTC Brands (Direct-to-Consumer)
Typical profile: Own-brand businesses focused on customization flexibility and brand identity. The product must reflect the brand, not just carry a label.
Decision priorities: Customization > Quality control > Lead time
How we work with them:
- OEM/ODM custom development: fabric, color, size chart, logo, packaging — all brand-specific
- Seamless technology support for invisible wear and comfort-focused products
- Low MOQ for first orders with flexible replenishment
- Brand protection: exclusive design, not shared with other clients
Wholesale Brands
Typical profile: Two sub-types:
- Retail/chain store brands — needs certifications, compliant packaging, stable bulk supply
- Distributors — price-sensitive, MOQ-conscious, value-focused
Decision priorities:
- Retail/chain: Certifications > Supply > Price
- Distributors: Price > MOQ > Stock availability
How we work with them:
- OEM base-style customization (simplified development, faster bulk turnaround)
- Certification documentation support (based on target market requirements)
- Volume-based pricing tiers
- Flexible shipping (FCL or LCL)
Not Sure Which Category You Fit?
These categories aren’t rigid. Many clients start in one lane and shift or expand over time.
- Some start on Amazon and later launch their own DTC brand
- Some DTC brands grow into wholesale channels
- Some run all three channels simultaneously from the same production line

FAQ
Can Nanbin handle both small first orders and large ongoing accounts?
Yes. Stock styles start from 50 pcs. Bulk MOQ depends on client type and product complexity. We support both trial orders and ongoing volume.
Do you support clients who are transitioning from Amazon FBA to DTC?
Yes. Many of our clients have gone through this transition — start on Amazon to build data, then launch their own brand. Our approach adapts as your business evolves.
Do wholesale and DTC clients get different pricing?
Pricing depends on volume and customization level, not client type. For the same quantity and specs, pricing is consistent.
Can I work with Nanbin if my business model doesn’t fit neatly into one category?
Yes. The three categories are for reference — they’re not requirements. We work with hybrid business models too. Contact us to discuss your setup.
