Production and Shipping Lead Times: What to Expect from Nanbin
One of the most common questions clients ask is “how long will it take?” The answer depends on your order type and shipping method. Here’s a breakdown of each stage so you can plan your timeline.
Production Timeline by Order Type
| Order type | Lead time | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Stock items (white label) | Within 3 days | From order confirmation, not from payment |
| Custom sample | Within 7 days | Per piece, one free revision included |
| Bulk production | Within 25 days | Standard; see variables below |
| Full custom (new fabric / frequent revisions) | 25+ days | Timeline confirmed at inquiry |
Stock items ship within 3 days of order confirmation — we need to run through our internal confirmation process before production starts.
Bulk production is typically 25 days. Two things can extend this:
- Frequent changes during production — each major revision resets part of the timeline
- New fabric development — requires additional sampling and approval cycles before bulk can start
If either applies to your order, mention it in the inquiry so we can give you a more accurate estimate.
Shipping Options
We support multiple shipping methods. Choose based on your timeline and budget.
| Option | Who arranges | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| EXW | You arrange your own forwarder | You have a preferred freight partner |
| DDP | Nanbin arranges, delivers to your door | You want a hands-off experience |
| Sea freight | Our forwarder or yours | Large orders, cost-sensitive |
| Air freight | Our forwarder or yours | Rush orders, small quantities |
If you have a designated forwarder, we can ship directly to them. If you don’t, we can arrange freight and provide a shipping quote separately.
Shipping costs are quoted at inquiry, not included in product pricing.
What Affects Your Timeline
1. Order type
Stock items are fastest. Full custom orders take the longest. If your product needs new fabric development, tell us upfront — we’ll adjust the timeline accordingly.
2. Revision frequency
Each major revision resets part of the production schedule. Getting details right at the sample stage makes bulk production run smoother.
3. Current production schedule
Peak seasons (Q3–Q4) have tighter schedules. If you have a fixed deadline, mention it when you inquire. We’ll check whether we can fit it into our current workload.
How to Plan Your Timeline
Work backward from your target delivery date:
Target delivery date
− Shipping time (sea or air, depends on destination)
− Bulk production (25 days minimum)
− Sample confirmation (7 days + shipping time)
= When you should start the inquiry
If you have a fixed launch date, tell us at the inquiry stage. We’ll confirm whether we can meet it based on our current schedule and give you a committed timeline.
Have a deadline to meet? Contact us with your target delivery date and order type, and we’ll confirm the timeline.
