Waist Trainer Private Label: MOQ and Customization Options
Last updated: Sep 2026 · 5 min read
Nanbin (Shaper Factory) is a shapewear manufacturer in Shenzhen, China, established in 2015, producing seamless and cut-and-sew shapewear and waist trainers for wholesale, white label, private label, OEM and ODM buyers worldwide.
Quick answer: Nanbin produces waist trainers under your brand at four levels. Stock wholesale starts at 20 pieces. White label — our catalog styles with your logo — starts at 50 pieces. Private label, with your own woven labels, wash tags and packaging, runs 100–300 pieces. Full OEM/ODM, where you bring your own fabric, pattern and construction, runs 300–1,000+ depending on construction. Samples cost $7–120 depending on type and can usually be credited against your first bulk order. Bulk production takes about 25 working days, counted separately from sampling.
You’re looking for an OEM waist trainer manufacturer to produce waist trainers under your own brand. Here’s what Nanbin can do, what it costs, and how the process works.
Why Waist Trainers Have the Lowest Entry Point
Most waist trainers are cut-and-sew — latex, neoprene and boned constructions are all cut from fabric we already stock and assembled by hand, so small runs are genuinely possible.
Seamless circular-knit styles are different: they need dedicated Santoni machine time, and that machine setup sets the floor. This one distinction explains where you land in the range below.
Order Levels
| Level | MOQ | Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Stock wholesale — catalog styles as they are | From 20 pcs | 1–3 working days |
| White label (logo on stock) — our styles, your logo, nothing else changes | From 50 pcs | 3–7 working days |
| Private label — your woven labels, wash tags, packaging | 100–300 pcs | Confirmed by style |
| Full OEM / ODM — your fabric, pattern, color, construction | 300–1,000+ | Sample and bulk confirmed per project |
Within full OEM/ODM, where you land in the 300–1,000+ range depends on construction: cut-and-sew styles sit toward the lower end because they work from fabric we already hold, while seamless styles sit toward the upper end because they need dedicated Santoni machine time. White label and private label are unaffected by this — those minimums stay at 50 and 100–300 regardless of construction.
Minimums are counted per style. If you’re planning several colorways, tell us the split and we’ll confirm the total.
On private label, garment and packaging quantities are counted separately. Packaging components come from print suppliers with their own minimums — that’s a separate small purchase, not a higher garment requirement. Many clients buy their own hangtags and labels and ship them to us to hold, so we apply them to each order and keep the rest for your next run.
If we’re already carrying the fabric you want, the numbers move. Tell us the style and quantity you have in mind and we’ll tell you where you actually stand.

Sample Fees
| Sample type | Fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Existing style, same color | $7–15 / piece | Taken from current production stock |
| Existing style, new color | $50–100 / color | Seamless styles; pattern unchanged |
| New design, seamless | $80–120 / piece | Full pattern development |
| New design, sewn (latex / neoprene) | $50–80 / piece | Cutting and assembly |
Logo application is priced separately, on top of the sample fee: around $10 for a single piece, $3–5 per piece for 3–5 pieces. Screen and film setup is one-time, but every piece is hand-registered and checked — which is why the per-piece cost stops falling there. On bulk orders logo cost is built into the unit price, not charged separately.
Not sure you need a paid sample? If you want a catalog style with no logo, place a small wholesale order instead. You pay the normal wholesale price and what arrives is sellable stock rather than a sample.
Key policies
- Sample fees can usually be credited against your first bulk order, including for first-time clients. The threshold is confirmed case by case — tell us your target quantity and we’ll confirm before you pay.
- Credit applies to custom and OEM orders. Plain wholesale orders are not part of this program.
- One free revision per sample, on the same turnaround as the original.
- Shipping is not included.
What You Can Customize
| Option | Choices |
|---|---|
| Fabric | Latex, neoprene, or knit |
| Closure | Multi-row hooks, zipper, or Velcro |
| Compression | Light, medium, or firm |
| Logo | Woven label, printed label, or heat transfer |
| Packaging | Poly bag, branded box, or hang tag |
| Sizing | XS to 6XL, or your custom size chart |
Turnaround
Sampling and bulk production are two separate clocks. Sampling runs first; bulk production starts after.
| Stage | Time |
|---|---|
| Stock style, as-is | 1–3 working days |
| Stock style with your logo | 3–7 working days |
| Sampling — color or style change | 7–14 working days |
| Bulk production | About 25 working days |
| Rush | Available on request, $100 per order |
All timelines are working days. The sampling clock starts when the sample or development fee clears; the bulk clock starts from confirmed sample and cleared payment. Sample orders are prepaid.
For a new style, plan on roughly 32 working days from sample payment to goods leaving the factory. Shipping is on top of that.
Common Questions
What’s the minimum for a private label waist trainer?
White label (logo on stock) — adding your logo to a catalog style — starts at 50 pcs. Full private label, with your own labels, wash tags and packaging, runs 100–300 pcs. Developing a new style from scratch under OEM/ODM is the bigger commitment at 300–1,000+, with cut-and-sew toward the lower end and seamless toward the upper end, because a new seamless style needs dedicated machine time while cut-and-sew works from fabric we already hold. If you only want catalog stock with no branding at all, that starts at 20 pcs.
Do I need 1,000 pieces if my hangtags come in packs of 1,000?
No. Garment minimums and packaging minimums are unrelated. Hangtags and printed labels come from print suppliers who set their own minimums, so buying a batch is a separate small purchase — it doesn’t raise your garment quantity. Many clients buy their own and ship them to us to hold; we apply what each order needs and keep the rest for the next run.
Can sample fees be credited against my order?
Usually yes, on custom and OEM orders, first-time clients included. The threshold depends on the style and whether we’re already holding the fabric, so we confirm it before you pay rather than applying a fixed rule.
What’s the typical price range?
It depends on material and customization. Latex constructions cost more; knit fabrics are more economical. Tell us your target price and we’ll work within it.
Do you handle both latex and neoprene waist trainers?
Yes. The processes are different — latex is molded, neoprene is sewn and assembled. Tell us what you need and we’ll confirm the best approach.
How long from first contact to delivery?
Sampling takes 1–14 working days depending on how much changes. Bulk production runs about 25 working days after that, and shipping is on top. If you have a deadline, say so upfront and we’ll plan around it.
Still working out which option fits?
Tell us what you’re making and roughly how many. If you’re still deciding between styles or quantities, say so — we’ll tell you what’s realistic before you commit to anything.
