Quality Inspection: What Nanbin Checks Before Shipping

Before your order leaves our factory, it goes through a multi-point inspection. We check quantity, appearance, sizing, function, and packaging. Here is what each stage covers and what you can expect.

What We Check Before Every Shipment

Quantity verification. We compare the packed quantity against the purchase order. Every carton is counted and recorded.

Appearance inspection. Each piece is visually checked for fabric defects, color deviation, loose threads, and overall finish. We compare against the approved sample to ensure consistency.

Sizing check. We pull a random sample from each production batch and measure against the spec sheet. Waist, hip, length, and opening dimensions are verified.

Function check. Zippers are tested. Hooks and eye closures are engaged and disengaged. Seams are stretched to confirm they hold. Compression garments are checked for even tension distribution.

Packaging check. Inner poly bags, carton quality, label placement, and shipping marks are verified against your packaging specifications.

When and Where Inspection Happens

Inspection takes place at our factory after production is complete and before the goods leave for the port. We also conduct in-line checks during production to catch issues early — for a detailed breakdown of in-line versus final inspection, see our quality control process.

Additional Inspection Options

We can arrange additional checks on request:

Pre-shipment photos and videos. We photograph and record your finished goods before they are packed. This includes close-ups of labels, packaging, and a random product sample.

Third-party inspection. If your procurement process requires an independent inspection, we can coordinate with your appointed third-party inspector. They can visit our factory to inspect the goods before shipment.

Enhanced sampling. For large or high-value orders, we can increase the sample size beyond the standard AQL rate. This provides greater confidence across specific sizes or colors.

How We Handle Issues Found During Inspection

If the inspection reveals defects within the acceptable quality limit, the affected pieces are pulled and replaced, and the shipment proceeds.

If the defect rate exceeds our standard, we stop the shipment and sort or rework the affected batch. We inform you of the issue, the corrective action taken, and the updated timeline.

For a full breakdown of how we handle defects and rework, see our quality control and rework process.

FAQ

Can I get photos before you ship?
Yes. We provide pre-shipment photos and videos on request. This is a standard service we offer to all clients.

Can I hire a third-party inspector?
Yes. You can arrange an independent inspection at our factory. We coordinate the schedule and provide access to the finished goods.

What happens if the inspection finds defects?
Defective pieces within the acceptable range are replaced. If the defect rate exceeds the standard, we sort or rework the batch and update you on the timeline.

How long does inspection take?
Inspection time depends on order size. Confirm at inquiry for an estimate based on your order volume.

Do you inspect 100% of the products?
We use statistical sampling based on AQL standards rather than 100% inspection. For most orders, this provides reliable quality assurance without delaying shipment. If you require 100% inspection, we can discuss this at the inquiry stage.
