Sample Policy: Cost, Timeline, and Deduction Rules
Sample fees vary by style type and process complexity:
| Sample Type | Fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Existing style, existing color | $7–15 / piece | Uses existing molds. Lowest cost. |
| Existing style, new color (seamless) | $50–100 / color | Requires yarn and mold parameter adjustment |
| New custom design (seamless) | $80–120 / piece | Full development cycle, new mold |
| New custom design (sewn) | $50–80 / piece | Sewn construction has lower mold cost than seamless |
The price difference comes from mold investment. Existing styles use ready molds — lowest fees. New seamless custom designs require new molds — highest fees.
Sample Deduction Rules
Your sample fee is not a sunk cost — it is fully deductible from your bulk order.
Deduction conditions:
- The bulk order must reach the style’s MOQ, or a minimum of 200 pieces
- The fee is deducted from the final payment
- Orders below the threshold are not eligible for deduction
The principle: the sample fee covers development cost, but as long as you place a qualifying bulk order afterward, it costs you nothing extra.
Sample Timeline
Standard sampling: 7 days.
Timeline starts once sample requirements and technical details are confirmed. Factors that affect turnaround:
- Style complexity (new custom designs take longer)
- Need for specialty fabric or trims
- Current production scheduling
If revisions are needed after the first sample, the revision cycle adds additional time.
Free Revisions and Sample Discounts
Free revision: If the first sample doesn’t meet expectations, we offer 1 free revision. The revised sample also follows the 7-day sampling cycle.

Can the sample fee be refunded?
It’s not a refund — it’s a deduction. The fee is fully credited toward your bulk order. If the deduction conditions are met, it’s not an extra expense.
What if I’m not satisfied with the sample?
We offer 1 free revision. Tell us what needs to change, and we’ll remake the sample at no extra charge.
What order quantity qualifies for the deduction?
The style’s MOQ, or a minimum of 200 pieces. Either condition works.
