Seamless Shapewear Factory in China

OEM & Private Label | 50 pcs MOQ | 7-Day Sampling | Direct Manufacturer

We’re Nanbin, a seamless shapewear manufacturer based in Shenzhen. We produce for Amazon FBA sellers, DTC brands, and regional distributors across North America, Europe, and Latin America. This page covers what we make, how we make it, and what working with us looks like.

What We Produce

Our core product range is seamless shapewear and bodywear, produced using circular knitting technology. The constructions we regularly manufacture:

Seamless bodysuits — full-torso garments with targeted compression zones. We produce standard compression bodysuits, open-bust styles, backless panels, and bodysuit-to-legging combinations. These are our most technically demanding pieces and the ones we have the deepest production experience with.

Shapewear shorts and leggings — high-waist shorts, mid-thigh shapers, and full-length leggings with graduated compression from waist to hem.

Waist cinchers and waist trainers — seamless construction with varying compression grades, from everyday light support to high-compression postpartum styles.

Sports bras and activewear — seamless construction designed for movement, with racerback, crossback, and longline configurations.

Gradient compression garments — pieces with engineered compression mapping, where different zones of the garment carry different pressure levels. This is technically more demanding than standard shapewear and requires specific machine settings and pattern expertise. It’s a construction type we produce regularly.

If you have a specific construction in mind that isn’t listed here, ask us. The range above covers our standard production — we’ve also developed custom constructions for brands with specific requirements.

How We Handle Seamless Production

Our factory in Shenzhen handles cutting, sewing, quality inspection, finishing, and shipment in-house. Seamless knitting is produced through a dedicated long-term partner facility — the same team, the same machines, the same quality benchmarks on every order.

This production model matters for one reason: consistency. When you approve a sample, the bulk run goes through the same process, the same partner, the same specs. Not whoever has capacity that week.

Factories that own knitting equipment in-house aren’t automatically more consistent — many subcontract overflow production when their machines are at capacity. What actually determines whether your bulk matches your sample is the stability of the production relationships involved and how tightly quality is managed at every handoff.

We’ve maintained our knitting partnership long enough that they understand our standards without being told each time. That stability is what we’re selling when we talk about consistency.

Our certifications: ISO 9001, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, BSCI, SGS. Current certificates available on request.

Sampling and Bulk: The Numbers

Quoting: 1–3 days from inquiry to quote. Faster if you come with clear specs — construction type, compression grade, size range, fabric preference. Longer if we need to work through the details together.

Sample production: 7 days. This is our standard turnaround for new sample requests. For simple constructions or styles close to our existing range, sometimes faster. For complex custom constructions with multiple compression zones, allow for one revision round.

Bulk production: 25 working days from sample approval. This is the standard window for new constructions. Reorders of approved styles run shorter.

MOQ: In-stock styles from our existing library start at 50 pieces. Custom OEM development has higher minimums depending on the construction and fabric requirements — ask us specifically for your project.

Branding: Heat transfer logo printing from 2 pieces. Woven labels, hang tags, and custom packaging are available at standard OEM minimums.

Total timeline for a first order: 8–10 weeks from first contact to receiving bulk. That’s 1–3 days quoting, 7 days sampling, up to two revision rounds if needed, 25 days bulk production, plus sea freight (3–4 weeks to North America or Europe). Air freight cuts shipping to about a week but significantly increases landed cost.

How We Control Quality

Quality control at Nanbin runs across four points in the production process, not just at the end.

Fabric inspection before production starts. We check fabric composition, weight, and elasticity against the agreed spec. Fabric that doesn’t meet spec doesn’t go into production.

In-process checks during knitting and finishing. Our QC team works with the knitting partner to flag issues before they become bulk problems — compression inconsistencies, needle drop, uneven tension.

Pre-shipment inspection against the approved sample and AQL standards (Major 2.5, Minor 4.0). Every bulk order is checked before it leaves the facility. We document the inspection with photos and measurements.

Top of Production (TOP) sample — for new clients and new constructions, we pull a piece from the actual bulk run before shipment. You approve it before we ship the rest. This is the step that catches the gap between sample quality and bulk quality before it becomes your problem.

We accept third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas) as standard practice. If you want to arrange your own inspector, tell us at order placement.

Who We Work With

Amazon FBA sellers are a significant part of our client base. We understand FBA requirements — FNSKU labeling, polybagging, carton specifications, and the inventory planning pressure that comes with depending on a single fulfillment channel. When you need consistency across reorders, we’re set up to deliver it.

DTC brands building their own label typically come to us at one of two stages: testing a new product with ODM styles from our existing range, or developing a custom construction once they’ve validated market demand. We support both stages and the transition between them.

Regional distributors and wholesale buyers sourcing for resale across North America, Europe, or Latin America. We work with buyers who need consistent quality across large quantities and reliable delivery schedules.

What all three have in common: they need a factory that does what it says it will do, on the timeline it said, at the quality level the sample showed. That’s the baseline we work to on every order.

FAQ

Q: Can you work with buyers who don’t have a tech pack?

Yes. If you have a reference garment, a design concept, or even just a clear idea of the compression level and style you want, we can help develop the specification. Most first-time OEM buyers don’t arrive with a complete tech pack — we’re used to building them together.

Q: What’s the difference between your ODM and OEM service?

ODM means you’re selecting from styles we’ve already developed, adding your branding. Lower development cost, faster to market — right for brands testing a category or launching a first line. OEM means you bring your own design or we develop one specifically for you. You own the design, we produce to your spec. Right for brands with established product direction who want something no one else has.

For a full breakdown of which model fits your brand stage, see our guide on [seamless shapewear OEM vs ODM].

Q: Do you do post-surgical or medical-grade compression garments?

Our standard range covers fashion compression and activewear compression. We don’t produce certified medical-grade garments requiring specific compression ratings under medical device regulations. If your product is for post-surgical use but doesn’t require medical certification, ask us — we may be able to meet your requirements.

Q: What happens if the bulk doesn’t match the approved sample?

Document the discrepancy with photos and measurements against the approved spec. Submit a formal quality claim within 30 days of receipt. We have a documented process for handling quality claims under our ISO 9001 system — ask to see it before you place your first order, not after something goes wrong.

Q: How do I get started?

Send us your project details — construction type, target compression, size range, quantity, and timeline. If you have reference images or a tech pack, include those. We’ll come back with a quote in 1–3 days and a clear picture of what’s feasible.
