1. Three fabric layers, each doing one job
Most fajas in this price range are single or double layer. This one is built in three: a smooth high-stretch inner layer against the skin, a high-compression middle layer that does the shaping, and a firm mesh outer layer that holds the shape and keeps the silhouette from rolling. Your customer feels the difference the first time she puts it on — the compression is firm without the fabric digging, because no single layer is being asked to do everything.
2. Built-in shaped cups — nothing worn underneath
The bust is knit with shaped cups rather than left open, so it wears as a complete garment. No foam, no molded shell, no underwire — just structured knit giving light support and a smooth line. For your customer this removes a whole objection: she doesn't need to find a bra that works under it.
3. Zipper gusset
A zipper at the crotch instead of hooks or an overlap panel. It opens and closes cleanly with one hand and holds flat when closed, which matters on a garment designed to stay on all day. This is the detail that decides whether a full-body piece gets worn or gets abandoned after a week.
4. Hook-and-eye front from underbust to abdomen
A single column of hooks running down the front. It lets the wearer get into the garment without fighting it, and lets her adjust the fit as her body changes — relevant for postpartum customers and for anyone whose measurements move across a season.
5. Mid-thigh with wide lace hem
The legs end at mid-thigh with a wide patterned lace band. The lace isn't decoration — it's what keeps the hem from rolling up under fitted clothing, which is the most common complaint about shorts-length shapewear. Sizes from XS.

Does this need a bra worn underneath?
No. The bust is knit with shaped cups built in, giving light support and a smooth line. There's no foam padding, no molded cup, and no underwire — the support comes from how the knit is constructed. Customers who want firmer bust support can wear their own bra under it, but it isn't required.
How is the crotch closure constructed?
A zipper. It runs the length of the gusset and lies flat when closed. This is one of the main differences between this style and the open-gusset fajas in our range — see Zipper Faja or BBL Faja if your customer base prefers a fully open gusset.
What makes the three-layer construction different from a standard faja?
Each layer has a separate job: the inner layer is soft and high-stretch against the skin, the middle layer provides the compression, and the outer mesh holds structure. Single-layer garments have to compromise between all three. The trade-off is that this style is warmer to wear and takes longer to dry.
Can this be produced in our own colors and with our labels?
