Which waist trainer styles to stock

Waist trainers are not one product. Closure type, bone count, and torso length change who the garment fits and how it gets used — and those are the three things that decide whether a style sells through or comes back.

Closure type sets the price point and the use case

Our catalog runs across three-row and four-row hook-and-eye, zipper, zip-and-hook, and lace-up. Hook-and-eye rows let the end customer size down as they progress, which is what waist-training buyers expect. Zipper styles go on faster and suit daily-wear and post-workout lines. Lace-up gives the most adjustment but the slowest to put on — it sells to corset and event buyers, not gym buyers.

Bone count is what your customer actually feels

Steel-boned styles in our range go from nine bones up to twenty-five. Nine to ten bones holds shape for daily wear without restricting movement. Twenty-five bones is structural — it holds a silhouette under a dress and is what a corset buyer is looking for. Stocking both ends of that range lets one store serve two very different customers.

Torso length is the most common cause of returns

We grade to three torso lengths across the range. A trainer that is right for a 5'8" customer digs into the ribcage of a 5'2" customer, and that return comes back as a fit complaint rather than a sizing one. If your market skews petite, short-torso styles are worth carrying as a separate SKU rather than hoping the size run covers it.

Compression level, matched to how it's worn

Light through extra-high across the catalog. Extra-high suits waist-training and post-op lines where the customer expects to feel it. Medium is what sells for all-day wear and repeats best — high compression buyers order once, comfortable compression buyers reorder.

Ready to sell

Ready to list, sized to sell

Three things that normally cost you time and money after the goods land — all handled before they leave us.

Product photos for your listings

Clean, high-resolution white-background photos for the styles you order — no watermark, ready to upload straight to Amazon, Shopify, or TikTok Shop.

No shoot to book, no photographer to brief. Studio photos for our stocked bestsellers, plus digitally rendered images for newer styles — we'll tell you which is which before you list.

Size charts you can publish

Waist trainers are bought by waist measurement, not by dress size, and a size chart that only lists S–5XL loses the sale. We supply the measurement chart for each style you order — waist range and torso length per size — so your listing answers the question before the customer messages you about it.

Neutral, unbranded packaging

Ships in plain polybags inside neutral outer cartons. Nothing on the packaging points your customers back to the factory.

Your own labels and branded boxes are available too — that sits under private label rather than plain wholesale.

Ordering, QC, and after-sales

Sampling, inspection, replacement policy, and the four-step ordering process are the same across every wholesale line we run. See full wholesale terms →

Wholesale FAQ

The questions buyers ask us most.

What's the difference between a waist trainer and a waist cincher?

Buyers use the terms interchangeably and so do most listings. In practice, "waist trainer" usually means a compression garment worn for shaping over time — hook-and-eye rows, higher compression, often latex or neoprene. "Cincher" leans toward the structured, boned end that shapes under clothing for an occasion. We supply both, and which word you use on your listing should follow whichever your market searches for.

Which closure type should I stock first?

If you're testing the category, three-row hook-and-eye is the safest first order — it's the format most end customers recognise and it allows them to size down over time. Add zipper styles once you know whether your customers are buying for training or for daily wear, and lace-up only if you're selling into the corset or event market.

How many steel bones do I need?

It depends on what the garment is for, not on "more is better." Nine to ten bones holds shape for all-day wear. Twenty-five bones is structural support for a defined silhouette under clothing. Stocking one style at each end covers two different buyers without doubling your inventory.

Do you carry short-torso styles?

Yes. We grade across three torso lengths. Short-torso styles matter more than most buyers expect — a trainer sized correctly at the waist but too long in the body rides up under the bust, and that comes back as a return. If your customer base skews petite, carry it as its own SKU.

What sizes do you offer, and are plus sizes graded properly?

The range runs S to 5XL. Grading at the top of the range is set to keep the compression effective and stop the edges rolling, which is where most plus-size shapewear returns come from. In-stock sizes vary by style and are confirmed against your list when we quote.

Can I order a sample before committing?

Yes, and we recommend it for this category specifically — compression is the one thing you cannot judge from a photo. Sample terms and lead times are on the wholesale terms page.
